Cava, a leading Mediterranean fast casual restaurant and culinary brand, opened its third restaurant in New York City at 50 Spring Street in Nolita, adding to existing NYC locations at 143 4thAve in Union Square and 325 Park Avenue South.

Nolita is Cava’s 37threstaurant and the latest in a series of nationwide openings in 2017 that will take the restaurant to over 40. At 3,100 square feet and 35 seats, and furnished with an outdoor courtyard, lofted  dining level, and an expanded digital ordering pick-up area, the new space features Cava’s newest elements in design and function.

“New York City residents like bold and vibrant flavors, and we love sharing the adventurous cuisine of Cava with them,” says CEO, Brett Schulman. “We’re excited to move into a bustling food community like Nolita and are looking forward to satisfying New Yorkers’ cravings for healthy, innovative, and on-the-go cuisine.”

On the day of opening, Cava invites the local neighborhood to join for community lunch—a tradition that started with the very first restaurant opening back in 2011 and rooted in the heritage of its three founders. “Sharing a meal was part of our culture and how we welcomed our new neighbors growing up,” says co-founder Ted Xenohristos. Join Cava for free lunch from 12 and 2 pm and pay it forward with a donation to Grow To Learn, Cava’s local non-profit partner, whose mission is to introduce a sustainable garden to every school in New York City.

Cava’s fall menu, which launched on September 18, boasts seasonal additions includingGreek Minestrone with Harissa,sweet and crunchy Carrots & Currants, and a refreshing line-up of house-made juices and teas.
