Are you ready for some football? Charley’s, known worldwide for their Charley’s Grilled Subs and Charley’s Philly Steaks restaurants, is tackling the 2012 football season with a five-week campaign where participants have the chance to call plays, score touchdowns, and win one of 22 prizes including a grand prize of $2,500 cash.

The “Charley’s Philly Steak Blitz,” which will run from September 24 to October 28, allows guests to play the game either by texting the word "blitz" to 69529 or creating a profile and playing online at charleys.com/blitz. In both instances, players will have the option to call a "run, pass, or trick" play. Points are awarded in conjunction with the result of the selected play while giving 100 bonus points for every touchdown scored. At the end of the campaign, the leaders with the most points on the national leader board will be awarded one of the following prizes:
 
·         Grand Prize: $2,500 cash
·         First Runner-Up: $1,000 cash
·         Second Runner-Up: $500 cash
·         Next 19 Highest Scores: $50 in Charley’s Cash

Everyone is given one free play to begin the game either via text or through the online profile they create. All subsequent plays will require a game code, which can be found at participating Charley's locations. Players will be able to submit game codes for up to two weeks after the end of the campaign.
