Gosh Enterprises, known for its Charley’s Grilled Subs and Charleys Philly Steaks restaurant concepts, has opened its first location in Maine.
The new Charleys Philly Steaks is located in the food court of the Maine Mall in the coastal city of South Portland.
"We are excited to further expand the Charleys brand into the New England region," says president, COO, and interim CEO Bob Wright. “We look forward to offering local residents our hot, grilled-to-order Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches. Now, Maine Philly Cheesesteak lovers will soon learn that no one does it better than Charleys.”
In 1986, the love of Philly Cheesesteaks inspired the opening of the first Charleys restaurant in Columbus, Ohio. Its grilled-fresh-to-order Philly Cheesesteaks are made from 100 percent USDA choice steak, all-white meat chicken breast, 100 percent dairy cheese and produce prepared fresh daily. Also known for its signature lemonades and gourmet fries cooked in 100 percent soybean oil, the Charleys brand has grown its footprint across the world with over 500 locations in 47 states and U.S. territories, and in 20 countries.
