It is an honor to reach this milestone achievement,” says Charley Shin, founder, CEO, and chairman. “Our premium, quality products and partnerships with franchisees who share the same belief in our mission—providing a great experience to every customer on every visit—have given us the opportunity for growth. Five hundred stores is a company-wide achievement; every location has contributed to the success of the Charleys brand.”

Columbus, Ohio-based Charleys Philly Steaks plans to open at least 25 more locations by the end of the year.

In 1986, the love of Philly Cheesesteaks inspired the opening of the first Charleys restaurant in Columbus, Ohio. Its grilled-fresh-to-order Philly Cheesesteaks are made from 100 percent USDA choice steak, all white meat chicken breast, 100 percent dairy cheese, and produce prepared fresh daily. Also known for its signature lemonades and gourmet fries cooked in 100 percent soybean oil, the Charleys brand has grown its footprint across the world in 20 countries. Charley’s Grilled Subs/Charleys Philly Steaks are concepts of Gosh Enterprises Inc.
