The price of a 40-pound block of cheddar cheese on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange fell seven cents today. The trading price of $1.16 per pound is the lowest in a month.
Cheese prices have fallen 13 cents over the past four days after a rally that elevated prices to $1.30.
