CompuCom Systems, Inc., (Nasdaq:CMPC), an infrastructure solutions provider, announced February 1 a strategic services agreement with Checkers Restaurants, Inc., (Nasdaq:CHKR).

CompuCom is providing installation and ongoing outsourcing services, along with desktop and printer equipment to more than 300 Checkers’ locations nationwide.

In 1999, CompuCom completed a rollout of point-of-sale systems to more than 300 Checkers’ sites, which led to this award for ongoing IT outsourcing services and equipment. Earlier last year, consulting engineers from CompuCom and Checkers jointly developed a customized solution that decreases system downtime and improves productivity for Checkers’ end users.
