Checkers and Rally’s, the double drive-thru burger brand, announced its reopening in Wilmington on October 13. Conveniently situated at 4301 N. Market Street, the location is owned and operated by Dinesh Goswami, bringing a mouthwatering dining experience to the local community.

Goswami, a seasoned figure in the restaurant business and a community-driven entrepreneur, is making a comeback with the brand in the Wilmington market. With a wealth of experience in the financial sector, spanning both small and large enterprises, Goswami also holds ownership of multiple franchise concepts along the East Coast like Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, and Popeyes. His business expertise plays a vital role in his success across differing markets.

“With the goal to enhance our portfolio with a complementary burger brand, my business partners and I were drawn to Checkers and Rally’s,” says Goswami. “This brand’s proven success in the quick-service restaurant and drive-thru sectors, coupled with our deep understanding of operational intricacies and customer demographics, fuels our excitement for re-entering the Wilmington market. Our primary goal is to contribute to job creation and business growth in the area.”

The latest Wilmington restaurant highlights the continued growth of the brand, with an updated prototype look and simplified operating model to better service the community.

“We are thrilled to welcome Dinesh and his team to Wilmington and are confident in their skills to lead the new restaurant while also fostering relationships with the community,” says Robert Bhagwandat, Senior Director of Franchise Development at Checkers Drive in Restaurants. “Checkers and Rally’s continues to attract entrepreneurs who share our vision and passion for delivering outstanding food and service. We look forward to working closely with Dinesh and helping him make a splash in Delaware with this new venture.”
