Chester Fried Changes Name, Goes Franchise

    Chester Fried is changing its name to Chester’s International, LLC, and has shifted its U.S. business model to a franchise program.

    "Chicken consumption is on the rise, and our new logo and franchise program will help ensure brand consistency to all of our customers around the world," Ted Giles, president and CEO of Chester’s, said in a statement.

    Chester’s offers both in-line and in-store locations, the latter including grocery, travel plaza, and c-stores. The company originated in 1952.
