Chick-fil-A is on a search to find its
most passionate fan. The person who could easily eat Chick-fil-A for
breakfast, lunch, and dinner six days a week. The customer who has trouble
getting through the day without a glass of Chick-fil-A Lemonade or
Chick- fil-A Iced Tea. Or the one who stockpiles Chick-fil-A meals on
Saturday to ensure they are set for Sunday when the chain’s restaurants are
closed.

As part of its year-long 40th anniversary celebration, Chick-fil-A is
launching an online video contest to find the brand’s greatest fan in the
country. Beginning Nov. 13, Chick-fil-A fans can submit a video–up to one
minute in length–that creatively pleads their case as to why they believe
they are the brand’s most passionate fan. The prize at stake? A Chick-fil-A
loyalist’s dream: 40 months of free Chick-fil-A Combo Meals, a trip for two
to Atlanta to visit the corporate headquarters, and Chick-fil-A
merchandise.

Contestants can upload their videos directly to the chain’s newly
designed Web site, www.chick-fil-a.com, through Jan. 15, 2008. The public
will vote on their favorite entries to determine the top 10 videos before
Chick-fil-A weighs in to determine the grand prize winner. The 10 finalists
will be awarded complimentary Chick-fil-A Combo Meals for one year and a
Chick-fil-A merchandise prize pack.

“The ‘Biggest Chick-fil-A Fan’ contest is an engaging way to capture
some of the fantastic stories our fans have shared with us anecdotally
through the years, and we felt our 40th anniversary year was the perfect
opportunity to launch something like this,” says Steve Robinson,
Chick-fil-A’s senior vice president of marketing. “The contest is also a
great way to continue experimenting with social media tools.”
