Burger King Corporation announced that beginning Monday, July 17, customers will have a choice of two Chicken Club Sandwiches that have been added permanently to the menu. Each sandwich offers a choice of either flame-broiled or crispy chicken, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, and hickory-smoked bacon served on a sesame seed bun. The BK Broiler® Club features a tender flame-broiled all-white meat chicken patty, and the original Chicken Club features a crispy all-white meat chicken patty. Both club sandwiches will be available at participating Burger King® restaurants nationwide.

The five-week nationally advertised promotion will be supported with general market television spots created by Lowe Lintas & Partners, as well as Hispanic and African-American target creative from Bromley Communications and UniWorld Group.
Burger King Corporation and the National Pork Producers Council are jointly promoting the Chicken Club Sandwiches that include bacon. The sandwiches will be promoted on radio stations for three weeks beginning July 17, 2000, in major markets across the U.S.
The Chicken Club Sandwiches will be featured in restaurants along with the Pokemon™ 2000 promotion available with the purchase of Burger King Big Kids Meals™ and Kids Meals for a six-week period also beginning July 17, 2000, at participating restaurants nationwide.
