Chopt Creative Salad Co. announced the opening of its newest New Jersey restaurant on Wednesday, November 4. In celebration of its opening, Chopt is collaborating with local partner, The Tri-Boro Food Pantry, a food pantry committed to helping people and families from the Ramsey, Pearl River and Emerson areas, as well as help those experiencing poverty, loss or hard times in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Chopt combines seasonal ingredients and authentic flavors from around the world to invent unbelievably cravable salads and bowls. The restaurant is constantly searching for inspiration to bring to its creative offerings. In addition to its classic and build-your-own salad options, Chopt creates limited-time, seasonal menus inspired by locations near and far. With the recent relaunch of Destination California, Chopt has brought back the seasonal fan-favorite and most requested non-regular menu salad: Spicy Sonoma Caesar, the Sweet & Spicy Koreatown Bowl, inspired by the vibrant and bold flavors of Koreatown; and the Cali Cauliflower Salad, inspired by the healthy vibes and plant-based trends found in California.

“We are excited to continue expanding Chopt Creative Salad Co. with the opening of our fifth New Jersey location,” says Chief Marketing Officer Julie Atkinson. “Chopt has grown tremendously over the past few years and we look forward to continuing to bring our globally-inspired food and fresh, natural ingredients to our loyal New Jersey customers.”

As is the custom with each new restaurant opening, Chopt will celebrate Chopt Gives Day on November 3 from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. For all digital purchases made that day, 100% of sales will be donated to The Tri-Boro Food Pantry. To encourage digital sales, Chopt managers will be outside helping all in-person customers sign up for the app. The dedicated donation day will coincide with orders placed via Chopt App or choptsalad.com only.

“The Tri-Boro Food Pantry is so thankful to Chopt for the opportunity to partner with them as they bring their amazing food to our area. Their mission to build a community around healthy eating and food availability ties in perfectly with what our organization is all about,” adds Janelle Larghi. “Chopt’s generous donation as a result of opening day sales will help make a huge difference in the lives of those experiencing difficult times.”

The new location features 52 seats with a variety of seating options including private booths with collaborative-style tables. Chopt Montvale features an oversized pickup shelf for to-go orders, both indoor and outdoor dining arrangements and is serving the full Chopt menu. The store is located at 52 Farm View, Montvale, NJ 07645 and can be reached at 551-308-1100. Chopt’s hours will be 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
