Chopt Creative Salad Co. is excited to announce the opening of its fifth Maryland restaurant at the Festival at Riva shopping center on Wednesday, October 30. In celebration of its opening, Chopt is collaborating with local partner Boys & Girls Clubs of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County (BGCAA), a non-profit organization that provides after-school programs for young people.
Chopt combines seasonal ingredients and authentic flavors from around the world to create unbelievably cravable salads and bowls. The restaurant is constantly searching for inspiration to bring to its creative offerings. In addition to its classic and build-your-own salad options, Chopt creates a limited-time only menu inspired by locations near and far. Chopt’s warm bowls are ideal for the fall season and transitioning weather. Additionally, Chopt features 17 scratch-made dressings and freshly-brewed iced teas and lemonades.
As is the custom with each new restaurant opening, Chopt will celebrate Chopt Gives Day on October 29 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and again for dinner from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. All customers who make a monetary donation to its charitable partner BGCAA will receive a free salad. For nearly 30 years, BCGAA has positively changed the lives of youth living in Anne Arundel and Annapolis County, reaching more than 2,200 children annually.
“In addition to offering programs that promote academic success and leadership, we are always promoting a healthy diet and lifestyle,” says Anna Piccirilli, director of Academic Success at BGCAA. “With Chopt opening, the BGCAA staff and members will have a restaurant option that is both healthy and tastes great.”
The new 3,400-square-foot location features 66 seats with a variety of seating options with a pick-up area to skip the line with a comfortable area for waiting. The new location pays homage to its location with maritime-themed wallpaper and communal table with a tree built in. Conveniently located in the Festival at Riga shopping center, Chopt can be found at 2323 Forest Drive, Annapolis, MD 21401 and can be reached at 443.924.6222. Store hours will be Monday – Friday, 10:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.; Saturday, 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.; and Sunday, 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
