Taco lovers in North America can embrace The Taco Life now more than ever as Chronic Tacos celebrates the opening of its 50th location at UC Riverside in California.

Chronic Tacos is a premier fast-casual Mexican restaurant serving authentic food using third-generation recipes. The made-to-order menu is customizable with all-natural meats and high quality ingredients. This milestone is a big achievement for the brand as it continues to expand across North America and into Japan.

“Reaching this milestone for Chronic Tacos is a direct result of our customers embracing The Taco Life and no matter how big we grow, that’s always at the cornerstone of what drives us forward,” says Michael Mohammed, CEO and President of Chronic Tacos. “We have worked hard to get here and now we’re looking ahead at the next 50 locations.”

Since opening its first location in 2002, Chronic Tacos has continued to develop its brand, maintaining a commitment to quality and a loyal customer base. Recent innovations include the launch of an app with features like pay-by-phone, online order ahead options and a new loyalty points and rewards system. The yearly Gringo Bandito Chronic Tacos Eating Contest draws in crowds around the world to see if anyone can beat the undefeated Kobayashi.

Looking ahead, Chronic Tacos already has plans to continue expansion in additional and existing markets including San Diego, Temecula, Laguna Beach, Ft. Myers and Alabama. The Chronic Tacos new UC Riverside location is located on campus at 900 University Ave., Riverside, CA 92521 and is now open.
