As summer comes to an end and kids are back in school, Church’s Chicken, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Casa Grande Valley are coming together to give back in a big way. Church’s Chicken will donate 15 percent of participating purchases made between 3 and 5 p.m. on August 21 to the Boys & Girls Clubs in the area.

To take part, guests must mention the Boys & Girls Club at time of purchase. Church’s is world-renowned for its freshly prepared original and spicy chicken and fresh-baked honeybutter biscuits made from scratch daily.

“This time of the year, when kids are coming back to school, events like this are critical to our mission,” says Jill Johnson, Cause Marketing Manager for Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix. “We rely on caring community businesses, like Church’s Chicken, to positively impact our communities.”

“Our restaurants actively seek opportunities to serve our guests in meaningful and lasting ways,” says Jeanie Hornia, Field Marketing Manager at Church’s Chicken. “We’re supporting our local Boys & Girls Clubs, because we believe it’s the right thing to do and because of the immense role these clubs play to empower our youth, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, members of the community.”

She noted that Church’s actively supports young people and education through its work with No Kid Hungry, along with its Church’s Scholars Program, which has provided hundreds of thousands in scholarships to deserving students throughout the country.

“As Church’s celebrates its 65th Anniversary this year, we are continuing our quest to find new ways to positively impact the communities we serve,” she adds.
