Schlotzsky’s, home of The Original round toasted sandwich and Fresh-from-Scratch buns, today announced the grand reopening of the Schlotzsky’s location on Poplar Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee. The unit now features a Cinnabon Express inside, offering Memphis residents a fresh-baked sweet treat in addition to its sandwich menu. Schlotzsky’s is inviting the local community to stop by the celebration on September 9, which begins at 10:30 a.m. The first 50 customers to purchase six-pack of Cinnabon treats will receive free Schlotzsky’s for a year. In addition, special promotional offers will be provided. “Cinnabon is recognized for its deliciously sweet, homemade treats, and Schlotzsky’s is known for our Fresh-from-Scratch buns, and we’re sure both concepts will resonate well with customers now that they’re under one roof,” says Paul Na, owner of the Memphis Schlotzsky’s. “It’s hard not to smile when you walk into our restaurants, smell the fresh-baked Cinnabon cinnamon rolls, and see how much fun we have with ‘bun humor.’ Memphis is in for a real treat.” The new addition of Cinnabon Express bakery allows guests to enjoy a number of Cinnabon’s warm, homemade treats, including the Cinnabon Classic Roll and CinnaPacks. In addition, Schlotzsky’s offers more than 15 different sandwiches on its round, freshly baked buns, as well as gourmet pizzas made with Fresh-from-Scratch crusts, made-to-order tossed salads, and a variety of soups and desserts. “With the addition of Cinnabon Express, we enhance the Schlotzsky’s experience and stay true to our roots by offering only the highest-quality, fresh ingredients,” says Kelly Roddy, president of Schlotzsky’s. “We are truly excited to give Memphis a taste of the Lotz Better Schlotzsky’s.” The Memphis Schlotzsky’s is open daily Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Catering is also available.
