On October 22, City Barbeque will once again celebrate “Family Time,” a day dedicated to the restaurant’s youngest guests and their grown-ups. Guests visiting for this special event will have the opportunity to help families fighting cancer: net proceeds from all the day’s sales of the restaurant’s famous triple chocolate cake will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

All day long on October 22, City Barbeque kid’s meals—with entrées ranging from brisket sandwiches and smoked turkey to chicken tenders and mac & cheese—are free with every adult meal purchase of $7 or more (one free kid’s meal per adult purchase). No coupon is necessary to redeem this offer; guests just need to mention “Family Time” when ordering.

“We celebrate families every day at City Barbeque, but we really love setting aside special days for Family Time,” says Rick Malir, company founder. “Having the opportunity to make a donation to the American Cancer Society is just going to be the icing on the cake.”
