Following its first Illinois restaurant in Berwyn, City Barbeque will open its second Chicago-area location in Orland Park in April 2018. The company, named best employer two years running by Columbus CEO, has started to build its opening team and is now accepting applications for all positions; interested applicants can find more information at citybbq.com/careers.

Folks who join the team will get to smoke the best barbeque in Chicago; City Barbeque Orland Park has already won People’s Choice award at The Bridge Teen Center’s Chefs’ Auction, one of Orland Park’s longest-running charitable events. Teammates will also cater events of all sizes, support the Orland Park community, and learn to live the company’s values: serving competition-quality barbeque with genuine backyard hospitality; improving a little every day; and staying true to the company’s purpose of serving and creating happiness.

Located at 14301 S. LaGrange Rd., the Orland Park joint will smoke all meats on-site and serve the same award-winning barbeque, homemade sides, and indulgent desserts that guests have come to know and crave. “Chicago gave us a really warm welcome when we opened our joint in Berwyn, so we’re excited to share our barbeque with more folks in Illinois,” says Brian Hipsher, VP of Marketing for City Barbeque. “We look forward to serving and creating happiness in Orland Park.”

The company will celebrate its newest location with a grand opening celebration, featuring special offers and events to be announced. In keeping with City Barbeque’s commitment to community involvement, 10 percent of grand opening day sales will go to Orland Park Baseball 4 All.
