City Barbeque has launched sales of its 2020 limited-edition tumbler. Guests can purchase a tumbler for $10 at any City Barbeque location and the brand will donate all tumbler profits to the Resurrecting Lives Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to supporting veterans living with Traumatic Brain Injury. Guests will receive free refills of fountain beverages, tea, and lemonade in their 2020 tumbler with any food purchase through March 31, 2020. Tumblers—which are double-walled, BPA-free, and equipped with a flexible straw—are available while supplies last, and City Barbeque has sold out of its annual tumblers every year.
Resurrecting Lives is committed to helping veterans with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), which impacts an estimated 20–25% of the troops returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. The foundation helps veterans successfully transition to a post-military career and life through advocacy, aid, fundraising, and research, and its mission of service has resonated with the team at City Barbeque for years. This is the brand’s sixth annual fundraiser for Resurrecting Lives; City Barbeque has donated more than $56,000 to date in support of the organization.
“We’re proud to once again raise funds for Resurrecting Lives,” says City Barbeque founder and CEO Rick Malir. “We’re inspired by their commitment to our veterans, and it means so much to us that our guests come out to help us support this cause as well.”
