CKE Settles Dispute with T.G.I Friday’s Over Carl’s Jr.’s ‘$6 Burger’ Ad Campaign

    The L.A. Timesreported today that a confidential settlement between T.G.I. Friday's and CKE Restaurants Inc.’s Carl’s Jr. has been reached in the suit over the ‘$6 burger’ advertising campaign.

    Last July, Friday's filed suit against CKE charging that advertisements for Carl’s Jr.’s ‘$6 Burger’ represented "false, misleading, and unfair competition".

    Narina Singh, a spokeswoman for Santa Barbara-based CKE told the Times that the matter "has been resolved to the satisfaction of both parties."
