Panda Express is bringing back its Classic Fried Rice beginning September 8. The decision is based on results from a nationwide effort to collect guests’ preference through sales analysis, market research, and feedback surveys.

After a short break, Classic Fried Rice returns to the menu alongside Brown Steamed Rice, White Steamed Rice, Chow Mein, and Mixed Veggies.

“Panda Express has some of the most passionate and loyal guests in our industry. We are humbled by their passion for our food, and we honor it by bringing back Classic Fried Rice,” says Dave Wallinga, vice president of marketing at Panda Express. “Panda Express guests have spoken, and their voices and votes have been heard loud and clear.”

Made fresh throughout the day, Panda’s chefs create Classic Fried Rice by wok-tossing steamed rice with soy sauce, scrambled eggs, green peas, carrots, and chopped green onions.

Panda Express remains committed to offering guests a variety of menu choices, from healthy to indulgent, and continues to offer Brown Steamed Rice, which is known to be a good source of fiber, packed with vitamins and minerals, and rich in antioxidants.

Brown Steamed Rice pairs well with any one of Panda’s seven Wok Smart entrees, which contain 250 calories or less, including Samurai Surf and Turf and String Bean Chicken Breast.
