Clover Food Lab, Massachusetts’ cult-favorite for family friendly fast food that turns meat eaters into vegetable lovers, announced it will be open for indoor dining starting Tuesday, May 25. Additionally, the innovative restaurant has few updates regarding its Meal Box Program. To start, Clover Food Lab has expanded delivery hours for its popular meal box delivery and pickup service. Meal boxes will now be available for pickup and delivery five days a week, from Tuesday to Saturday. Furthermore, following Memorial Day on Thursday, June 3, 2021, they will expand their meal box delivery to a 50-mile radius that includes Worcester, and will also be delivering to Cape Cod on Fridays and Saturdays through the summer.

Clover’s official reopening news comes off the heels of Governor Charlie Baker’s recent announcement that all COVID-19 restrictions will officially retract in Massachusetts on Saturday, May 29, 2021. Clover is thrilled to invite patrons back indoors a few days earlier, on Tuesday, May 25, 2021. In celebration of the reopening, everyone who has a free Clover app  account will receive weekly special offers including discounts, surprise treats, and free gifts throughout the Summer. Stay tuned for more details coming very soon. Those more comfortable enjoying Clover Food Lab outdoors are invited to visit the Cambridge Central Square, Longwood, and Boylston locations, all offering outdoor seating options. Takeout and contact-free curbside pickup remain options as well.

“Since the pandemic began, we’ve been cautious and relied on facts to determine the right timing of re-opening. We closed our doors early last March, started the Meal Box program as a response to how COVID changed eating behaviors, and have stayed closed and contact-free for much longer than most,” says Ayr Muir CEO and Founder of Clover Food Lab. “The best part of Clover is the community we’ve built. We have the best customers, employees, and partners that are the cornerstone of our restaurant. Words can’t describe what it will mean to see folks sitting down, eating food, and laughing with friends and family – it will fill a deep hole that is has been present for over a year now.”

On top of the exciting indoor dining news, Clover Food Lab is also celebrating the success of its Meal Box program, which originated as a solution to meet the changing needs of the community during the pandemic. To keep up with demand and meet customer requests for more flexibility and availability, Clover is increasing the number of meal box pickup/delivery days from three to five days a week, helping to make the program more convenient and seamless. Since its launch last summer, Clover’s Meal Box service has quadrupled in size, and the success of the program has helped the company expand to accommodate customer demand.

Clover’s Meal Box program continues to grow! Beginning on Thursday, June 3, 2021, Clover will also be expanding its delivery radius from 30 miles up to 50 miles from the East Cambridge location. Additionally, to celebrate the Summer, Meal Boxes will be available for delivery in Cape Cod on Fridays and Saturdays. As with all boxes, orders over $60 qualify for FREE delivery.

“Eating and making cooking videos at home with my family was what helped me through the pandemic. We created the Meal Box program for folks to cook healthy, easy, delicious food together, right in their homes,” says Muir. “We never imagined the program to quadruple in size in under one year. As the program continues to grow, we are excited to start offering free home delivery five days a week and soon increase our delivery radius to both celebrate the success and make the program even more convenient for our customers.”
