The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, one of the world’s leading roaster and retailers of specialty coffee and tea, announced that it is introducing two new varieties of the Cookies & Cream Ice Blended drink, the limited-edition Cookies & Cream Ice Blended drink comes in two varieties—Cookies & Cream and Midnight Cookies & Cream.
The two new, ice-cold beverages arrive just in time for the summer heat. Guests can enjoy the summer varieties for a limited time through August 26. Both of the new flavors can be made pure, without coffee:
- Cookies & Cream Ice Blended—Creamy vanilla blended with the sweet combination of milk, coffee and crunchy chocolate cookie pieces
- Midnight Cookies & Cream Ice Blended—Single origin chocolate mixed with milk, coffee and crunchy chocolate cookie pieces
“The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf started the frozen drink craze with the creation of The Original Ice Blended drink,” says Nurit Raich, senior director of product innovation, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. “We’re excited to continue this innovation with these new Cookies & Cream varieties to incorporate a sweet and satisfying twist on a classic flavor, which we expect will become a summertime favorite for guests of all ages.”
The Cookies & Cream Ice Blended beverage will be available at participating The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf locations starting July 9, continuing through August 26. In addition, the 12 oz size will be available for just $2 on July 12, 19 and 26, from 2 – 6 p.m. at participating retail locations.
