The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is serving a wide selection of holiday-inspired beverages, offering a variety of new retail items, and is re-instituting a charity program that aims to raise both money and awareness for The Help Group.
Holiday beverages include: Dark Chocolate Peppermint Ice Blended drink, Latte, and Hot Chocolate; Dark Chocolate Orange Ice Blended drink, Latte, and Hot Chocolate; Dark Chocolate Raspberry Ice Blended drink, Latte, and Hot Chocolate; Spiced Hot Chocolate; Winter Dream Tea Latte; and Orange Spice Tea Latte.
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is also introducing a handful of new culinary components to its winter menu. Embracing a popular tradition in Belgium, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf introduces its own version of a warm and golden Belgian waffle. For an additional fifty cents the Belgian waffle is served with chocolate hazelnut spread. Other treats include: Drizzled Toffee Popcorn; Peppermint Bark; Gingerbread Cookie; Peanut Butter and Chocolate Drizzled Pretzel Sticks; Chocolate Dipped Almond Biscotti; Coffee and Cream Bark and Holiday Drizzled Pretzel Sticks.
The Coffee Bean will also feature a winter-inspired CD titled “Harmony—A Modern Mid-Winter’s Mix,” with artists ranging from Death Cab for Cutie to Eartha Kitt. Drink powders are also available, ranging from Dutch Chocolate to White Chocolate, and come packaged in a new collector’s tin.
Other gifts for the family this season include a Tea Quartet gift set featuring mini tea tins, ground Coffee Duet, and a Holiday Cocoas gift set offered in festive winter tins. Lastly, Cranberry Spice, Winter Dream Tea, and Chai soy wax candles are available.
For several years in a row, The Coffee Bean has partnered with The Help Group to implement a program called “Deck the Walls.” The program allows customers to purchase a white or silver dove sticker to help “Deck the Walls” of The Coffee Bean with all proceeds going to The Help Group. Additionally, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf will donate $1 to The Help Group for each pound of Holiday Blend coffee or 20-count Winter Dream Tea retail item sold. The Help Group is the largest, most innovative and comprehensive nonprofit organization of its kind in the U.S. serving children with special needs related to autism, Asperger’s disorder, learning disabilities, ADHD, mental retardation, abuse, and emotional problems. Last year, Coffee Bean raised over $150,000 and this year hopes to increase its donation.
