Touching on their California cool roots, ice blended beverage creator and popular family-run specialty coffee and tea retailer, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, celebrates summer with three limited edition blended beverages.
Between May 10-September 12, the Ultimate Honey-Kissed Ice Blended, Ultimate Dark Chocolate Ice Blended, and Ultimate Caramel Ice Blended drinks will be available at participating locations. The “Ultimate” experience also continues in the bakery case with the new Ultimate Vanilla Bean Espresso Scone available for a limited time only.
To kick off summer, participating The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf locations will host an Ultimate Summer Celebration on Tuesday, May 11, from 4-7 p.m. At the “Open House,” guests can enjoy their choice of a complimentary 12-ounce beverage: Ultimate Honey-Kissed Ice Blended, Ultimate Dark Chocolate Ice Blended, or Ultimate Caramel Ice Blended drinks.
“The Original Ice Blended beverage has been one of our most popular offerings since we first developed it more than 20 years ago,” says Michelle Stene, senior research & development manager for Food & Beverage. “Always looking to innovate, we started offering Ultimate Ice Blended drinks several years ago, and we’re excited to expand the menu this summer with three new flavors.”
Each Ultimate Ice Blended beverage is made to order with signature coffee extract, flavored powder, non-fat milk, and milk chocolate covered espresso beans. The Ultimate Honey-Kissed Ice Blended beverage uses smooth, sweet, honey for a delicious taste. The Ultimate Dark Chocolate Ice Blended beverage features the dark chocolate powder for a bold flavor and the Ultimate Caramel Ice Blended beverage contains a sweet, buttery caramel sauce and vanilla powder.
