Collin Street Bakery President Bob McNutt and Bellmead City Manager Scooter Radcliffe attended the official ground breaking ceremony for the company’s newest highway store location on I-35. This will be the bakery's third location, and the first outside of Corsicana, Texas. Collin Street Bakery President Bob McNutt, new store manager Dave Baca, Bellmead City Manager Scooter Radcliffe, and Community Bank and Trust official Jenny Hale were on site for the official ground breaking ceremony. The 2.72-acre site at the corner of Interstate 35 and Highway 31 in Bellmead, Texas, will be the home of the first Collin Street Bakery store outside of Corsicana.
Also representing Collin Street Bakery were Scott Hollomon, vice president of finance, and Hayden Crawford, director of public relations. “We are excited to begin work on this site and look forward to serving our customers in Waco-Bellmead and the I-35 corridor in the next few months,” McNutt said.
“Our location on I-45 in Corsicana has surpassed even the most ambitious predictions, and given the much greater traffic count here on I-35, our expectations are high.” The new location will serve freshly made soups, salads, and sandwiches everyday, in addition to all the cookies, cakes, pies, and other goodies that travelers through Corsicana have come to expect over the years.
