Iconic 93-year-old Tulsa-based Coney Island Hot Weiner Shop announced Wednesday the signing of two new franchise agreements for stores to open in Rockwall and Allen, Texas.

“Our new franchisees have approved locations and both locations will open this year,” CVE, LLC managing member Vicki Economou says. CVE, LLC is the parent company of Coney Island Hot Weiner Shop “since 1926.”

“We are very excited to open our new stores in the DFW metroplex and believe they will be top performing locations for the company,” Vice President of Franchise Development Rob Snead says.

Currently there are over 100 new stores slated to open in less than five years. Founded by Greek immigrant Christ Economou in 1926 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Coney Island Hot Weiner Shop has fed celebrities, politicians, and generations of Oklahomans. The menu focus has always been simple and affordable. Coney’s, Frito Pie, 3-Way, Baked Potatoes, and the world’s best chili are longtime staples of the menu.
