Coney Island Hot Weiner Shop, a Tulsa, Oklahoma favorite since 1926, announced the signing of its first franchise agreements to open up to 80 potential locations across Houston, College Station, and the Austin, Texas markets. This agreement taps SoTexBrand Management, LLC as lead Area Representative for the Houston counties of Harris, Ft. Bend, Montgomery, Brazoria , Galveston, Waller, and Chambers. The Austin counties of Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, and San Marcos.

Also included is the College Station county of Brazos.

“We are beyond excited to be the Area Representative for these valuable South Texas counties with Coney Island Hot Weiner Shop,” a spokesperson for SoTex Brand Management, LLC says.

“Our belief is the 93 year history of success will serve us well in the great state of Texas. The potential of our historic brand in Texas is unreal and surreal to be franchising finally after 93 years of our business operating. We are beyond excited,” CVE, LLC managing member Vicki Economou says.

CVE, LLC is the parent company of Coney Island Hot Weiner Shop. The first locations to launch in South Texas will be opening in the summer of 2018. The newest stores will be free standing pad sites with drive thru’s. Digital menu boards with Apple iPad based POS systems featured in new locations.

Founded by Greek immigrant Christ Economou in 1926 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Coney Island Hot Weiner Shop has fed celebrities and generations of Oklahomans. The menu focus has always been simple, affordable and featured Coney’s, Frito Pie, 3- Way, and the best chili.
