Yogen Früz announced the grand opening of its newest Miami store, located in North Miami Beach. Just in time for summer, the new location is set to open on May 8 at 14881 Biscayne Boulevard. To celebrate, Yogen Früz will treat customers to special promotions, including buy one fro-yo, get the second one free for the entire day, as well as music and t-shirt giveaways for the first 100 customers. Yogen Früz will open on the same day as neighboring Italian restaurant Yes Pasta.

As part of the grand opening festivities, Yogen Früz will donate 10 percent of the grand opening day proceeds to The Ayuda Foundation, a local Miami based non-profit organization that serves children and families through education, training, and support networks.

“We are very excited about the new Miami location,” says Aaron Serruya, president of Yogen Früz. “As we move into summer, Miami’s hot humid climate, the combination of the beach community and the local demographics’ desire to lead a healthy and an active lifestyle make this market an increasingly important area of growth for our business.”

“The close proximity to tourists provides a great flow of traffic and easy access for our consumer,” says Alex Leonard, master franchisee for South Florida. “We are thrilled to open this new location and look forward to providing customers with a great tasting, healthy alternative to fast food.”

As part of their 2010 U.S. expansion plan, Yogen Früz will open five new store locations in Miami and has plans to expand into other cities in South Florida as well.
