Palm Springs Desert Resort Communities Convention and Visitors Authority recently named Copley’s on Palm Canyon 2009 Restaurateur of the Year among six additional nominees competing for the title. The Hospitality Achievement Awards recently recognized restaurateurs, hoteliers, and hospitality business owners throughout the desert community who were nominated by peers to receive the honor.
Owned by executive chef Andrew Copley and his wife, business manager Juliana Copley, the restaurant and its distinctive dishes have been highlighted in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and most recently, the Washington Post.
“Andrew and Juliana Copley provide tremendous support to the CVA,” says Michael Corbett, presenter of the 2009 Hospitality Achievement Awards. “Chef Andrew’s dazzling culinary skills have delighted thousands. Dining at Copley’s is an experience for everyone, and as hospitality partners, Andrew and Juliana continue to showcase our desert in the best possible light.”
“We have had the honor of working alongside the Palm Springs Desert Resort Communities CVA for several years, and are proud to be recognized amongst our talented peers who have all provided remarkable service to the city’s local and out of town guests,” Juliana Copley says. “We hope to continue raising the bar to firmly establish Palm Springs as a leading culinary and recreational destination in the country.”
