Costa Vida, a fresh and fast 94-unit causal chain known for its vibrant and innovative Mexican cuisine, has announced the opening of a new full-service location in the Salt Lake City International Airport. The location, which opens to the public on December 20, 2017 at 11am MST, will offer both travelers and airport employees fresh, authentic and quick from-scratch Mexican cuisine at an affordable price. Costa Vida offers a variety of custom, made-to-order whole food items such as hand-crafted tortillas, burritos, tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, salads and nachos.

“Costa Vida is excited to have the opportunity to serve both international and domestic travelers the authentic, fresh Mexican flavors that we have become known for,” says Dave Rutter, president and CEO, Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill. “Our new airport location will harness the same convenient customer options, such as app ordering for those in a rush and catering coming soon, that our stand-alone locations throughout the country have prided themselves on.”

In addition to being a sign of the company’s continued growth, this new Costa Vida airport location also marks only the fourth food-service facility in the country to be on airport ground in front of the security wall.  The location will also serve as a convenient option for those utilizing the airport’s park-and-wait feature as it is located nearby and is accessible from the parking lot without security clearance.

“We are very excited about this location and we look forward to serving the travelers and employees of the SLC International Airport,” said Gary Moore, Costa Vida Franchisor.

The Salt Lake City International Airport Costa Vida joins 31 other food service facilities available to travelers within the airport and is the only full service option in front of the security wall, featuring full-service and a full menu. The location will also feature app ordering and online ordering for customer convenience. Catering may also be available at the location within the next year.
