Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill announced the opening of its fifth location in Washington on Monday, March 17. The Queensgate area will welcome the new restaurant at 3015 Duportail Street in Richland.
In celebration of the opening, Costa Vida is inviting the local community to attend the grand opening event on the 17. The first 25 guests in line will receive a Costa Vida Platinum Card, awarding them one free entrée per week for a year; guests 26-50 will receive a Gold Card for 1 free entrée per month for a year. Guests may be awarded additional giveaways throughout the day.
This restaurant will mark the fifth Costa Vida franchise for Russ and Bob Cazier, who also own locations in Kennewick, Richland, and Spokane.
“We are excited to be a part of Costa Vida’s continued growth by bringing our fresh Mexican menu to a new area in Washington,” says Joy Cazier, vice president of operations of Richland’s new Costa Vida. “Our store’s fun, light-hearted atmosphere, and made-to-order food offers something for everyone to enjoy. We know the Queensgate area will embrace our new addition to the community.”
Costa Vida food is made from scratch every day. The menu is inspired by the surfing culture and local cuisine of the Baja Peninsula Coast and features burritos, tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, salads, and nachos. Protein choices include sweet pork, grilled chicken, shredded beef, Raspberry Chipotle Chicken, grilled steak, and chile verde. Entrées are served with cilantro lime rice and black, refried, or pinto beans. Homemade guacamole, sauces, and salsas can be used to customize any order and include Mango Salsa, Honey Habanero Salsa, Salsa Fresca, and Pico de Gallo.
With the exception of the flour and wheat tortillas and the tres leches and key lime pie desserts, Costa Vida’s menu items are gluten free.
