Seemingly bucking industry trend, Cousins Subs has added a new bread and sandwich line to its menu.

The Ciabatta sandwich line features three new menu items. All are made on Ciabatta bread, which is a classic Italian bread that is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and has a porous texture that is light to the touch.

Classic Cubano Pork: Ciabatta bread is dressed with mayonnaise and spicy brown mustard and then filled with hot sliced ham, salami and roasted pork covered with melted Swiss cheese and then garnished with tomatoes, onions sliced tomatoes and sweet pickles.

Tuscan Market Club: Ciabatta bread is spread with a sun-dried tomato dressing, layered with sliced pepperoncini, sliced onions, tomatoes, lettuce, provolone cheese, ham, turkey, crisp bacon and oregano seasoning.

Spicy Chicken Sedona: Ciabatta bread dressed with chipotle mayonnaise, hot tender chicken, flame roasted onions and peppers, and chipotle spiced salsa, covered with melted Pepper Jack cheese.

Cousins Subs is a Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin-based submarine sandwich shop founded by two cousins in 1972, and patterned after the popular subs found on the East Coast.
