Cousins Subs announced the return of its popular Cubano and Pulled Pork & Slaw subs for a limited time only. To help celebrate, guests are being encouraged to go hog wild for these pork-inspired subs.
Anyone interested in winning Cousins Subs prizes can snap a selfie of themselves or their friends enjoying a Cubano or Pulled Pork & Slaw and post the image on Instagram and Twitter with the hashtag #GoHogWild or visit the Cousins Subs website. A $100 Cousins Subs gift card will be awarded to one participant weekly through July 6. One lucky grand-prize winner will even receive free subs for a year.
“These subs have a pretty loyal following, so we thought it’d be fun to give our fans an opportunity to showcase their appreciation,” says Justin McCoy, vice president of marketing for Cousins Subs. “We want folks to really capture their inner hog and even get a little messy while enjoying these great-tasting subs.”
The Cubano sub features ham, genoa salami, pulled pork, Swiss cheese, mayo, brown mustard, sliced dill pickles, onions, and tomatoes on Italian bread. The Pulled Pork & Slaw offers pulled pork, barbecue sauce, and coleslaw piled high on Italian bread.
“Pork-based sandwiches and entrees are in high demand,” McCoy says. “We were at the forefront of this trend a few years ago with the development of our extremely popular Cubano and Pulled Pork & Slaw subs. Our guests have voiced their desire for the return of these limited time offerings to our menu, and we gladly have fulfilled this request annually ever since.”
