Lovers of bold, zesty flavors, behold: The Crispy Southwest Chicken Sandwich has returned to the menu through October 23 or while supplies last.

Across the industry, consumers are becoming more adventurous and open to trying new flavor profiles. The Crispy Southwest Chicken Sandwich answers guests' requests for a more daring menu option. It consists of a crispy chicken fillet layered with Habanero Pepper Jack cheese and creamy jalapeño ranch dressing for a spicy punch of flavor. The sandwich is topped with crisp shredded lettuce and ripe tomatoes, and served on a flour-dusted ciabatta roll.

"We have a number of delicious LTO sandwich offerings, but the Crispy Southwest Chicken Sandwich is the only one featuring chicken," says Paul Pitas, Culver's director of public relations and communications. "This sandwich capitalizes on a combination of quality ingredients and zesty flavors to provide a fresh take on a familiar staple."

The Crispy Southwest Chicken Sandwich was first introduced in June 2015 in test markets for a limited time.
