Culver's Goes Elfspotting This Holiday Season

Sprinkling magic into this holiday season, Culver's is inviting guests to share photos of themselves with the ultimate holiday merrymaker, an elf, for a chance to win a $25, $50, or $100 Culver's gift card.

Culver's suggests Elfspotting sleuths search for the magical creatures in malls, while out shopping, or even in their own home (garden gnomes count).

"Elfspotting is a wonderful opportunity for social-savvy guests to share in the joy of the holidays through a lighthearted and rewarding photo challenge," says David Stidham, Culver's vice president of marketing. "Guests already love sharing photos of themselves enjoying Culver's, so we wanted to feed that enthusiasm in a unique, festive way that captures the spirit of the season."

Until December 18, fans are encouraged to submit their elf photos through Facebook, Twitter, or e-mail.

Three lucky winners will be randomly selected each day to receive a Culver's gift card. Winners can then spread holiday cheer by treating family and friends to Culver's menu options like handcrafted ButterBurgers and rich and creamy Fresh Frozen Custard.

"Our social-media promotions are a fun opportunity to engage guests, as well as generate excitement, and have substantially grown our Facebook fanbase," Stidham says. "Offering gift cards as the prize fits perfectly during the holidays because they're a go-to gift for so many people."

Elfspotting is the fifth social-media promotion for Culver's this year. Culver's generates awareness for the promotions through its website, text messaging, eClub, Facebook, Google+, and Twitter.
