American Dairy Queen Corporation recently announced plans to bring a DQ Grill & Chill restaurant to Butler County. Set to open this summer, the restaurant will be located at 5046 College Corner Pike.

A welcoming environment for all, the forthcoming DQ Grill & Chill features a modern look and feel with comfortable booths, large wooden tables, warm lighting and upbeat music. The new location will be locally owned by Dan Cheshire and Brad Huelsman. Dan also operates five other DQ locations around Somerset, Ky, while together, Dan and Brad own the Kyles Station DQ Grill & Chill along with the new Oxford location.

“Dairy Queen is a rapidly growing throughout Ohio and my team was definitely eager to expand the DQ Grill & Chill name throughout Butler County,” says Cheshire. “Cultivating an environment that brings a smile to our fans faces is a win in our book and DQ restaurants accomplish just that. We’ve seen great success at our Kentucky restaurants and Kyles Station location and we anticipate similar traction at this new site. Oxford was the perfect community for us to bring our next location, as the community has already tasted our treats, and we’re excited to bring it back.”

Brad helps oversee daily operations at Kyles Station and soon at the Oxford location as well. Brad has a lengthy history within the industry and worked for 20 years as an area manager for a large restaurant chain. Also involved with the new Oxford location will be general manager Belt Brashear.

While the final plans for the restaurant’s opening are in motion, anyone interested in working at the Oxford DQ Grill & Chill can email dq44681@gmail.com. Right now, the team is actively seeking an assistant manager starting at 40K a year.
