Beginning this July, it’s all about the bacon at Dairy Queen locations throughout the U.S. The Dairy Queen system is bringing back the Bacon Cheeseburger $5 Buck Lunch, the number one most-requested value meal, which is being offered throughout July and August.
The Bacon Cheeseburger $5 Buck Lunch features a 100 percent beef patty, topped with hickory smoked bacon, ketchup, mayo, and melted American cheese. It also includes fries, a 21-ounce beverage, and a classic DQ sundae. Fans can also upgrade to a $6 Buck Lunch with options including a Deluxe Bacon Cheeseburger or Crispy Chicken Sandwich.
“Bacon is so popular it should have its own month,” says Barry Westrum, executive vice president of marketing for American Dairy Queen Corporation. “So we’re giving an unofficial salute to bacon beginning in July at our DQ restaurants with the return of our Bacon Cheeseburger $5 Buck Lunch, a fan favorite. Nowhere else will you find a value meal that includes a bacon cheeseburger, fries, drink, plus our one-of-a-kind DQ sundae. It’s the most bang for your bite and wallet.”
Fans can also upgrade the $5 Buck Lunch with a Blizzard Treat for $1. In celebration of National Ice Cream Month, the featured Blizzard of the Month is the M&M Peanut Butter Monster Cookie Blizzard Treat, a sweet and crunchy blend of M&M candies, smooth peanut butter, chocolate chunks, and peanut butter cookie pieces, hand-crafted together with creamy DQ signature vanilla soft serve.
