To experience the steakhouse treatment this summer, you won’t have to break the bank. In fact, you won’t even have to visit a steakhouse.

That’s because the Dairy Queen system, owned by Berkshire Hathaway  company, is offering fans the steakhouse treatment at a value price point with the new A.1. Bacon Cheeseburger All-Day $5 Buck Lunch, available for a limited time only beginning May 29.

The A.1. Bacon Cheeseburger $5 Buck Lunch is complete with the DQ system’s juicy cheeseburger made with a 100 percent pure beef patty that’s topped with melted Swiss cheese, applewood smoked bacon, caramelized onions and creamy A.1. spread, and served with crispy fries, a 21 oz. beverage and a choice of DQ’s signature sundae.

“We are inviting fans to elevate to steakhouse status with our new all-day A.1. Bacon Cheeseburger $5 Buck Lunch,” says Barry Westrum, executive vice president of marketing for American Dairy Queen Corporation (ADQ). “We even have some fun in our national commercial, calling attention to the high-class flavor of our A.1. Bacon Cheeseburger $5 Buck Lunch. In a nod to an elegant food service presentation, the DQ employee in the commercial lifts a cloche, typically not found in quick service restaurants, to unveil the A.1. Bacon Cheeseburger $5 Buck Lunch. What we have that others don’t is the value price point. Fans will receive steakhouse treatment for only $5 and that’s big news.”

Quality and value are core to food innovation in the DQ system. The new limited time only A.1. Bacon Cheeseburger All-Day $5 Buck Lunch in June is one of several DQ $5 Buck Lunch options that is not only recognized as the only value meal that comes with a sundae, but is also one of the best and biggest value meals in the restaurant industry. Fans also can choose from a Deluxe Cheeseburger $5 Buck Lunch and a 3-Piece Chicken Strip $5 Buck Lunch, both of which are also available all-day.

Fans can upgrade from the All-Day $5 Buck Lunch sundae to a small Blizzard® Treat for just $1. The featured Blizzard Treat for June is Cotton Candy, a sweet and crunchy blend of cotton candy topping and sprinkles blended with creamy DQ vanilla soft serve. Blizzard Treats are made to order and so thick they are served upside down in four sizes, including the popular Mini.
