The Dairy Queen system is kicking off the New Year by offering its premium Chicken Strip Basket for the value price of $4.99, available at participating DQ and DQ Grill & Chill locations nationwide during the month of January only.

Fans will enjoy the $4.99 Chicken Strip Basket filled with succulent chicken strips made from 100 percent all white meat chicken tenderloins, Texas toast and crispy fries, served with a choice of dipping sauce including warm country gravy, new zesty queso, ranch or smoky BBQ.

“The DQ Chicken Strip Basket is a fan favorite, with flavorful chicken strips that are marinated and seasoned five times for optimal flavor. It’s a high-quality meal that combines deliciousness and value,” says Maria Hokanson, Executive Vice President of Marketing for ADQ. “Also in January, we will feature the Reese’s Outrageous Blizzard Treat as the Blizzard of the Month. It’s the most outrageous DQ Blizzard Treat to date, inspired by the wildly popular Reese’s Outrageous candy.”

The Reese’s Outrageous Blizzard Treat is a decadent combination of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, crunchy Reese’s Pieces creamy peanut butter topping and sweet caramel topping hand-blended with famous DQ vanilla soft serve. Blizzard Treats are made to order and are so thick that they are served upside down or the next one’s free at participating locations.

Throughout the year on the DQ mobile app, fans will receive national weekly exclusive DQ deals on treats, food and beverages, redeemable only at participating DQ restaurants in the U S., excluding Texas and Canada.

Through its subsidiaries, IDQ develops, licenses and services a system of more than 6,800 locations in the United States, Canada and more than 25 other countries.
