Here are the telltale signs that fall is right around the corner: college and professional football season kicks off; the weather is cooler; the school year begins; and the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard Treat is back in DQ stores.

Beginning September 4, the Dairy Queen system, a Berkshire Hathaway company, will bring back the fan favorite and classic season-inspired Pumpkin Pie Blizzard Treat for a limited time only.

Available at participating Dairy Queen and DQ Grill & Chill locations nationwide, the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard Treat is a smooth and creamy combination of delicious pumpkin pie pieces hand blended with classic DQ vanilla soft serve, crowned with whipped topping and a touch of nutmeg. Blizzard Treats are so thick they are served upside down in four sizes, including the popular Mini.

“Pumpkin is a classic flavor that has reached incredible pop culture status,” says Maria Hokanson, executive vice president of Marketing for American Dairy Queen Corporation (ADQ). “We kick off the fall season every year, as only DQ can, with the addition of our Pumpkin Pie Blizzard Treat. It’s a one-of-a-kind seasonal offering that has become part of our brand DNA.”
