Dan’s Dogs Diner acquired The Place To Be Diner & Deli in Brook Park and will have a Grand Opening Celebration on Friday, May 17. Everyone that arrives before 12pm on the 17th will be entered into a raffle, and 52 lucky people will receive a free hot dog every week for a year. Other surprises will also be in store throughout the day.

Dan’s Dogs original location is the popular diner-style restaurant on Medina’s historic square. The new second location is in Brookgate Shopping Center. They will continue the tradition of hometown service, value, and their famous, delicious hot dogs. While they will continue to serve fan favorites everyone has become accustomed to at the new location, they will also include original hot dog creations and more to the menu. They will also now serve breakfast, lunch and dinner every day from 7am to 9pm.

New owners are Medina residents Jason and Dana Graf, John and Randi McCale and Copley area resident Joe Inglett. The group will be hands-on running the diner, taking complete control from all previous ownership and management. “We are excited to continue the menu tradition that has been a staple in the community for so long and also bring some exciting new hot dogs,” says co-owner Dana Graf. “All of the staff and friendly faces everyone loves will still be here,” added co-owner and full-time manager John McCale, while continuing, “We have perfected so many hot dog creations over the years and now we’re really looking forward to giving away those fifty two free hot dogs for a year certificates.”
