Daphne’s Mediterranean, the fresh and wholesome Greek fast casual that acquired Noon Mediterranean late last year, will make its highly anticipated Texas debut this month with two Grand Opening celebrations in Dallas. On Friday, February 8 at from 11am to 9pm, Daphne’s will open doors at its first location at 7949 Walnut Hill Lane and celebrate with free Gyro Fries samplers for all guests. A week later on February 15, the location at 8449 North Beltline Road will have its own Grand Opening event with free Gyro Fries samplers for guests who stop by after 11am.

“We’re thrilled to be expanding the Daphne’s name and brand into Texas, starting with Dallas. The reception we have already received after announcing the new locations has assured us we’ve already found a home in here in the Lone Star State,” says Michael Nakhleh, president of Elite Restaurant Group, the parent company of Daphne’s Mediterranean. “The food we serve is wholesome, fresh, and ranges from the very traditional to the unique. Our Gyro Fries with our signature Fire Feta are a crowd favorite, and show what Daphne’s is all about: serving delicious tasting food that innovatively highlights all the Mediterranean has to offer.”

Daphne’s is a 30-year-old brand known for serving nourishing, health-focused dishes inspired by the flavors of the Mediterranean. Offerings range from traditional entrees like hand-carved gyro, grilled seafood, and falafel to more modern offerings like mezze platters and kale quinoa tabbouleh, all made with premium, wholesome, and authentic ingredients. The Dallas locations will also feature the option for guests to build and customize their own bowls, a new addition that separates the Daphne’s Mediterranean locations in Texas from those in California.

Daphne’s will operate 23 locations in California and Texas once the Dallas locations officially open, and the following 9 store conversions in Austin, Houston, and Boston will be done in rapid succession. After Dallas, the order will be Houston, Austin, and then Boston, with all store conversions expected to be completed by April 2019. Daphne’s is owned by Elite Restaurant Group, a multiconcept operator with a focus on emerging restaurant chains that also owns Slater’s 50/50 and Patxi’s Pizza.
