Brake, previously controller, will continue to support both Del Taco and Sagittarius Brands, working in collaboration with Mike Payne, chief financial officer at Sagittarius.
Honer had been director of financial planning. As vice president, business insights, and planning, he adds responsibilities for market planning for new restaurants, developing and leveraging consumer insights, and establishing a marketing analytics capability. As part of this, the company is currently recruiting a director of consumer insights, a new senior-level position, with responsibility for developing and executing research plans, tools, and processes for business growth.
Brake and Honer will report to Shirlene Lopez, president and COO of Del Taco.

Del Taco also announced the alignment of product development under Janet Erickson, executive vice president of purchasing. As part of this, the company is currently recruiting a senior director of menu development, who will be responsible for building upon Del Taco's core and promotional menus.
