Del Taco Expands Buck & Under Menu

Del Taco, a leader in the Mexican quick service restaurant category, is adding new fresh and bold flavors to its Buck & Under Menu with the introduction of two menu items: the Salsa Fresca Chicken Taco and the Chicken Roller, both prepared with marinated chicken freshly grilled in-restaurant daily. Now available at participating restaurants, Del Taco’s new grilled chicken offerings will satisfy guests looking for protein-packed options at an affordable price. Fans can access a coupon via Facebook for a free Salsa Fresca Chicken Taco with any purchase.

With prices starting at just 59 cents, 79 cents, and $1, Del Taco’s newest Buck & Under Menu additions include:


·      Salsa Fresca Chicken Taco: Marinated, fresh-grilled chicken topped with handmade pico de gallo salsa, served in two warm corn tortillas

·      Chicken Roller: Marinated, fresh-grilled chicken, Pepper Jack cheese and tangy green sauce, rolled in a warm flour tortilla


Now featuring a total of 15 items, the Buck & Under Menu was expanded earlier this year with the launch of new nachos and fresh-brewed Gold Peak Iced Tea, further enhancing the company’s snack and beverage options for $1 or less. Del Taco’s newest nacho offerings include:


·      Salsa Verde Nachos: House-made chips topped with slow-cooked beans, warm nacho cheese, tangy green sauce, and spicy sliced jalapeños

·      Chili Cheese Nachos: House-made chips topped with warm nacho cheese, zesty red sauce, and beefy chili


The Bean & Cheese Cup, a Del Taco classic, can now be found on the Buck & Under Menu priced at just 89 cents, featuring lard-free beans slow-cooked from scratch every three hours, freshly grated Cheddar cheese and zesty red sauce.  

As part of the company’s “UnFreshing Believable” campaign designed to spotlight its dedication to providing quality, delicious, made-to-order menu items with freshly prepared ingredients, Del Taco introduced the Buck & Under Menu for guests seeking more bang for their buck. With items starting at just 59 cents, the menu features classic Mexican favorites cooked fresh daily, including Mini Quesadillas, CrunchTada Tostadas, half-pound Bean & Cheese Burritos and Double Beef Classic Tacos; drinks including Strawberry Lemonade and Gold Peak Iced Tea; as well as various breakfast items such as Breakfast Burritos and Hashbrown Sticks.
