Del Taco Restaurants has created The Del Taco, a crunchy beef taco, worthy of the brand's name. The Del Taco is loaded with seasoned beef, freshly-grated Cheddar cheese, crisp lettuce, and fresh, chopped tomatoes, all supported by a crunchy corn shell.
Inspired by the original version served more than 50 years ago at the very first Del Taco restaurant, this beefed up taco will be available beginning June 23.

In line with the brand's promise of value, The Del Taco gives guests more of what they love for a price they'll love. Loaded with more seasoned beef and more hand-grated Cheddar cheese, The Del Taco costs $1.39. Del Taco also offers the option to substitute seasoned turkey, with 33 percent less fat than the traditional seasoned beef, at no additional charge.
Del Taco has a long history of doing things differently than other traditional quick-service restaurants, such as grilling fresh chicken and carne asada in every restaurant's working kitchen, but offering these freshly-prepared items at the price and convenience of a drive thru.
