On Monday della bowls together with REEF Kitchens, expand affordable plant-based bowls delivery service to more customers in Miami-Dade with a new location that delivers to Coconut Grove and parts of Coral Gables.

della bowls currently offers its globally-inspired, plant-based bowls from via Uber Eats and GrubHub, along with Postmates and DoorDash in some locations.

The new Coconut Grove location joins the Wynwood and Brickell locations as the newest outposts of della bowls delivery. The delivery radius of each of the now three della bowls REEF locations extend for approximately 3-7 miles around each one. Deliveries are available every day of the week from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.

della bowls’ core mission is to make healthy food delicious, affordable and easily accessible. The globally-inspired “healthy bowls of happy” include five house favorite bowls, including the Forbidden Bowl, stacked with vibrant layers of black coconut rice, fresh greens, tempeh, broccoli, raw roots sweet potato and Gold Sauce. The satisfying bowls are also fully customizable.

Guests appreciate the night owl hours, especially given the current environment. Says nursing student Thalia Aceves, “I order regularly. I love having it as an option late at night because I’m the type of person that takes my health seriously. When I saw that della bowls offered healthy foods late, I was so pleased. ”

Customer and Arora Projects founder Krishan Arora is thrilled to continue his daily della bowls delivery, despite the changing environment due to COVID-19:  “I literally get my della bowls delivered to my apartment in under 20 minutes, every single time. It is healthy, plant-based food that is good for your body and soul. I order della bowls at least four to five times a week and do not plan to stop anytime soon.”

The food is prepared in REEF Kitchens, with recipes and quality checks by founder and CEO Della Heiman and COO/Chef Julie Frans to ensure a consistent, high production value.

Given the current COVID-19 crisis, della bowls continues to prioritize the health and safety of its team and community. Current protocols include face masks and gloves for all team members, strict sanitization standards, tamper-proof packaging and the option for contactless delivery.

Heiman launched the fast-casual restaurant at The Wynwood Yard, which she also founded, in November 2015. The concept was ranked the #1 Food Truck in Miami by The Miami New Times in 2016, and ranked No. 1 across all restaurants in Wynwood in 2016, based on Yelp user reviews.

Driven by the desire to make nutritious food available to all, della bowls’ core mission is even more essential during these trying times. Heiman said, “We’re gratified to have the opportunity to offer more guests access to affordable, nutritious meals along much of the eastern Miami-Dade corridor from Buena Vista to Coconut Grove and parts of Coral Gables. Working with REEF Kithens and leveraging their ghost kitchen model makes it possible.”

della bowls plans to open its first brick-and-mortar storefront at The Doral Yard at Downtown Doral when the property can safely open this year. In the meantime, fans in the current delivery zone can order via these delivery apps and follow della bowls on Instagram and Facebook for updates regarding new delivery zones.
