Brand licensing agency Global Icons recently matched their client Dickey’s Barbecue Pit with a new spice manufacturer to further the brand’s retail presence across the nation. Dickey’s newest food licensing venture is with Spice Chain – the leading importer, processor and supplier of premium spices and flavorings for the food industry for over 100 years.

Spice Chain alongside Phil Butler Dickey’s VP of Culinary and Company Stores developed a new mixture of delicious, authentic-Texas style spice blends using the leading manufacturers’ organic process and salt-free ingredients.

The partners plan to roll out their new blend of seasonings and spices in early 2021. For now, the southern barbecue inspired rubs and seasonings are available individually or in multi-packs on athome.dickeys.com.

The flavor profiles available include:

  • Beef Brisket Rub
  • Chili Pork Butt Rub
  • Poultry Rub
  • Foo Foo Powder
  • Rib Rub
  • Salted Coffee Rub
  • Caribbean Chipotle BBQ Rub
  • Jalapeño Rosemary Steak Seasoning

Everything Bagel Rub Jeff Lotman, CEO of Global Icons states, “Our goal in licensing is to extend brand attributes in new and exciting ways. For our client Dickey’s, it was evident that we wanted to bring their authentic smoky flavor to new partners that can elevate their guests at home experience. What better way to enjoy that hickory taste on your grill and in your kitchen, than with Dickey’s At Home products.”
