Dickey’s guests will now be able to enjoy their favorite barbecue when and where they want it with the launch of Dickey’s official partnership with on-demand delivery service Favor. The delivery service will be available in several of Favor’s cities including Arlington, Dallas, College Station, Fort Worth, Frisco, McKinney, Plano, Philadelphia, and San Antonio, Texas, and Scottsdale, Arizona, which includes 22 Dickey’s locations. The partnership provides delivery service through the Favor iOS or Android app.

“Favor offers the convenience of delivery to pair with our quality, Texas-style barbecue,” says Dickey’s CEO Roland Dickey Jr. “As Dickey’s grows more into innovative technologies, we look forward to partnerships such as this to move us forward as a brand.”

Favor connects customers to a personal delivery assistant (called a runner), who will pick up and deliver anything in your city in an average of 35 minutes. Requests are placed through the Favor iPhone or Android app, with a flat delivery fee rate of $5 in Texas. With more than 90 percent of completed deliveries at a five-star rating, Favor emphasizes the importance of customer service in the on-demand delivery economy—something that pairs well with Dickey’s.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit prides itself on smoking all of its delicious meats low and slow overnight in every store. This year Dickey’s celebrates its 75th year of slow smoking with system-wide specials and new product offerings,

“Favor and Dickey’s share a likeminded commitment to customer service and quality, and we’re thrilled to officially partner with such a beloved barbecue staple,” says Keith Duncan, senior vice president of sales and business development at Favor. “Today’s partnership shows our continued commitment to providing the very best local delivery options to our customers.”
