Dillas Quesadillas, a popular fast-casual restaurant specializing in gourmet quesadillas, has leased 2,500 square feet of retail space in the Preston Stonebriar Shopping Center in Frisco, Texas. Sean Alkek with EDGE Realty Partners handled negotiations on behalf of Dillas Quesadillas. The new location is being developed by Hermansen Land Development, Inc. with MSC Design serving as architect.

Dillas Quesadillas opened its first location in 2013 at 2008 Midway Road in Plano. The Frisco location is set to open in the first quarter of 2017 and will include more seating, an outdoor patio, and a menu featuring quality, handmade, fresh PRIMO quesadillas with made-from-scratch sauces and sides. The menu is an American take on the Mexican favorite. Twists on the quesadilla include Texas-style smoked brisket, bacon cheeseburger with fries, and a veggie Dilla with zucchini and portobello mushrooms.

“When we started looking for a second location, Frisco was our first choice. We learned so much at our Plano location that lends itself perfectly to Frisco families and the Frisco community,” says Kyle Gordon, founder and owner of Dillas Quesadillas. “We are very excited about joining the Frisco community and look forward to getting involved with area businesses, schools and charities.”

Dillas, pronounced is named after a line in the pop culture hit film “Napoleon Dynamite” and is owned by Kyle Gordon, former managing partner at Raising Canes, one of the nation’s fastest growing concepts, and wife Maggie Gordon, granddaughter of Jerry Owens whose family founded Owens Country Sausage.
