To celebrate the coming of warmer weather and spring in the air, Doc Popcorn, the world’s largest popcorn franchise retailer, introduces a new limited batch flavor, Ragin’ Ranch. The new flavor is available now at participating Doc Popcorn locations nationwide and online through May 15.
Inspired by springtime’s annual blossom, Ragin’ Ranch offers guests a vibrant flavor that will rejuvenate their taste buds. With hints of dill, garlic and vinegar, Ragin’ Ranch combines the zing of ranch with the crunch of popcorn to create a tangy, herby menu option. The new flavor also pairs deliciously with Doc Popcorn classic flavors such as Cheesy Cheddar, Triple White Cheddar or Hoppin’ Jalapeño.
“Ranch dressing has become one of the most popular condiments and is consumed with more than just vegetables. Americans put it on everything, and now they get to enjoy it on their favorite popcorn snack,” says Rob Israel, founder of Doc Popcorn and ‘Big Pop.’ “We’re excited to introduce this light, zesty flavor as a limited time flavor on our menu to give customers a flavorful option that complements the world springing back to life. We’re confident this innovative flavor will be a fan-favorite.”
As a better-for-you snacking option, Doc Popcorn creates its own proprietary flavor blends using high quality ingredients free of trans fat, MSG, artificial colors and preservatives. Gourmet popcorn flavors include Klassic Kettle, Sinfully Cinnamon, Triple White Cheddar, Sweet Butter, Cheesy Cheddar, Better Butter, Caramel Bliss, Hoppin’ Jalapeno and Salt-n-Pepper. Flavor mixes are also customized by customers to create their own personalized tasty treat.
Based in Denver, Doc Popcorn has more than 100 mobile carts, kiosks and in-line stores around the world. In late 2014, after Dippin’ Dots, innovator and market leader of flash-frozen ice cream, acquired Doc Popcorn, the two companies announced they would begin opening co-branded locations around the country. There are currently 16 dual concept franchises with more opportunities in the pipeline. They expect to open 10 more this year.
